Co-Chairs

The Senior Parents Chair will work with parent volunteers to create committees to help promote, staff, set up, and run various events during the year.

Treasurer

The Treasurer is responsible for keeping the books and for preparing and presenting a financial report at each meeting. The Treasurer will create an annual budget and ensure that all committees stay within those budgets. All committee coordinators must provide the Treasurer with bills and expenses related to their committees and communicate anticipated needs to the Treasurer. The Treasurer will collect and process Senior Parent forms/payments throughout the year and assist the Registrar in keeping an accurate Senior Parents database.


Co-Secretaries

Erin Lyions & Angela Holbrook

The Secretary performs a variety of tasks, such as scheduling meetings, maintaining files, taking meeting minutes, and sending emails. 


Registrar

The Registrar manages the Senior Parents table at walk-through registration and will work throughout the year to process Senior Parent forms/payments through FutureFund and permissions for Grad Night and/or other events.


Newsletter and Social Media Coordinator

The Newsletter and Social Media Coordinator will send out communications updates and manage the Facebook and Instagram accounts for the Senior Parents group.


Volunteer Coordinator

The Volunteer Coordinators help organize volunteers for the different committees and events.


Website Administrator

The Website Administrator keeps the Senior Parents group website up to date with event and contact information, forms, and other items relating to Senior activities.


Committees


Senior Breakfast Committee Chairs

Jenny Shiblaq & Trisha Foley

The Senior Breakfast Committee Chairs will work to communicate and coordinate this event with the leadership teacher/students. The coordinators will find out how much food and drink are needed and will contact parents on the donation list to ensure that everything is delivered in time for the students to enjoy before they board the buses to the waterpark.


Raffle Prize Committee Chairs

Sally Richards & Melissa Nelson

The Raffle Prize Committee Chair and committee will work throughout the year to solicit donations for the prizes that will be given out at Senior Breakfast and Grad Night.


Senior Collage Committee Chairs

Maria Sitter & Bindu Shah

The Senior Collage Committee Chairs will put together a packet of information for Senior Parents with the collage directions. The Senior Collage Committee Chairs and committee will collect the collages in the spring and display them at Senior Ball After Hours as well as along the solar lot Fence on Graduation Day.


Senior Ball After Hours Chairs

Jen Oxe, Carey Dooley & Tracie Volgraf

The Senior Ball After Hours Chairs will be responsible for developing a theme and overall strategy for this event.


Baccalaureate Chair

The Baccalaureate Chairs will work to communicate and coordinate this event with the leadership teacher/students. The committee will be responsible for the details of this ceremony (as dictated by the Senior class officers), including the program and decorations. The committee is also responsible for putting together a slideshow of pictures collected from Senior Parents.


Downtown Ribbon Tying Leads

Robin Cruz & Sandra Rusconi

The Downtown Ribbon Tying Leads work with AVHS, Foothill & Village parents, PUSD District Staff and Pleasanton City Representatives to tie ribbons on Downtown Pleasanton light poles and the Main Street Bridge in honor of the graduates.


Grad Night Chair

The Grad Night Chair will oversee the events for Grad Night and will be responsible for developing a theme and overall strategy. They will work with the Treasurer to work within the budget and will submit all bills and expenses in a timely manner.
