Congratulations to the Amador Valley High School Class of 2025!

We are a volunteer parent group for the Amador Valley High School (AVHS) Senior Class of 2025. We will use this website and social media updated throughout the year to provide information about Senior Photo Collages, Senior Ball After Hours, Senior Ribbon Hanging Downtown, Baccalaureate and Grad Night. We will also pass on Senior Class updates as we receive them from the AVHS administration, counseling office, and yearbook teacher.

Senior Class Activities & Traditions

It's often hard to keep track of all the activities available for our Graduating Seniors, so here's a list of the Senior Year activities and who manages them. Some are managed by the school while some are managed by this parent's group. 

Please note: These special activities are optional.

Glossary of Events

• Senior Parents Mixer: (Organized by: Senior Parents Group) Organized to encourage the Senior class parents to socialize and learn more about upcoming Senior Class events.

• Senior Photo Collages: (Organized by: Senior Parents Group) Families are invited to create a small photo collage of their student that will be posted at Senior Ball After Hours as well as Graduation Day.

• Senior Ball: (Organized by: AVHS) The Senior Ball takes place in Spring and is organized by the school.

• Senior Ball After Hours: (Organized by: Senior Parents Group) Takes place immediately after buses arrive back at AVHS following the Senior Ball. Students enjoy snacks, music, Senior Photo Collages and more.

• Senior Ribbon Tying: (Organized by: Senior Parents Group) The Senior parents are joined by administration and other city officials to decorate downtown in school colors.

• Baccalaureate: (Organized by: Senior Parents Group) This inter-denominational, spiritual-based ceremony takes place around one week prior to graduation.

• Graduation: (Organized by: AVHS) The ceremony and ticketing for graduation is managed solely by the school. This group has no management over ticketing or the ceremony.

• Grad Night: (Organized by: Senior Parents Group) This ticketed event takes place immediately following the graduation ceremony and allow the students a safe environment to celebrate their graduation.
