10/2: AVHS Counseling is offering support for Seniors and their parents during the college application process: an Oct. 5 Virtual College Night (webinar will be recorded for later viewing) and in-person College Application Nights on Oct. 7, Oct. 27, and Nov. 8. 10/1: Senior Cap & Gown ordering deadline has been extended to Wed., Oct. 6. You can order online. Contact the Jostens Amador reps for information about borrowing a cap & gown or about payment plans.
9/1: We are looking for parents to chair Grad Night at Las Positas College. Email us if interested. Many have volunteered to help at the event or organize key activities. Talk to your friends; maybe you can co-chair together!
Welcome
We are a volunteer parent group for the Amador Valley High School (AVHS) Senior Class of 2022. We will use this website to provide information about Senior activities such as Senior Picnic, Senior Photo Collages, Senior Ball Breakfast, Baccalaureate, and Grad Night. We will also pass on updates as we receive them from the AVHS administration, counseling office, and yearbook teacher.
All donations to the Amador Senior Parents group are tax-deductible and eligible for corporate matching grants. Our official nonprofit organization name is “Amador Valley High School Senior Class Parents,” also known as “AVHS Senior Class Parents” (tax ID# 20-0820572).
Note: Senior Sunrise, Senior Ball, and the Senior Picnic trip (the “WaterWorld” Senior class trip to Six Flags Hurricane Harbor) are school/student-organized events. They are not hosted by the Senior Parents group.

Donate to help support Senior events/activities
Please make tax-deductible donations to the Senior Parents group to help us host activities and events to make the school year special and memorable for each and every one of our Seniors.
Your donation will be used to help host our main Senior events as well as new senior traditions like yard signs, Senior Ice Cream, Pizza, and Boba Days.
In addition, this donation will be used to cover tickets to our events like Grad Night or the Baccalaureate for those Seniors who need support.
